Getafe coach Jose Bordalas admits the end of the season can't come soon enough.

Getafe were hammered 3-0 at home in last night's derby against Atletico Madrid.

Bordalas said: "The season is getting long. We have achieved a permanence of great merit. As you know, the winter market affected us and so did the injuries, we are paying for it. There are players with many minutes who show the effort. We are missing a lot of tension.

"Today we started well, but the two goals come from two errors against a great team with enormous potential. We are diminished and have few alternatives. We made changes at half-time, we put two forwards in to look for crosses, but it didn't work out for us.

"On a counterattack they made it 0-3 and the game was over. We want the season to be over so we can start working on the next one. Incorporations will have to be made and it will not be easy.

"The team is depleted and fatigued. There are footballers who are playing with discomfort, we have no alternatives and we force them. There are three games in six days, we have used youth players, even a junior player. Against everything an Atltico is complicated. We must value the team's work, the season has been difficult and we have achieved salvation. In February it was already virtual."
